Clip, mounted on replacement slide cover plate, extends along the right, or left side of the slide. Carry your pistol conveniently tucked in your waistband, pocket or boot. Who needs Blade-tech? (2010-03-10)

Super Product, with only one down fall. If you attempt to use the clip draw and carry chambered, you will likely be on the wrong end of your bullet. It makes it easy for a small body to conceal well.

This clip works like a dream with my Glock 27. It says not to use it with a round in the chamber, but I've been doing it every day for over two years with no problems.

Best Addition Ever! (2012-06-10)

For those Glock owners looking for minimal bulk and maximum concealment, this is the absolute best product I have ever used. The Clipdraw is a retention system that enables a carrier to carry their weapon...and nothing more. Not needing a holster means I can wear surf wear style shorts, on my motorcycle, and feel confident and secure that a twist or turn will not dislodge my weapon, while allowing quick access for immediate deployment. The Clipdraw for Glocks integrates seamlessly to an included back plate with two screws, further assuring its structural integrity and can be used with most holsters without being removed. For others, just remove the two screws and thats it! Glocks are inherently smooth edged by design, making them a perfect choice for an in the waistband style carry without the barrier of a holster between it and the carriers body. I often forget I even have it with me it's so comfortable.

I used to carry a Walther PK380 and second mag with a custom made small-of-the-back style holster. I was constantly worrying about the back of my shirt riding up and picking at my back to check that I was covered. Deployment was only slightly hindered by the button strap. Magazine withdraw was exceptional since I designed the mag to be drawn from the left and the weapon to the right. There is nothing worse when concealed carrying than being paranoid of accidental exposure.

I am going to purchase a second Clipdraw for my Walther, which will require the adhesive strip vise the bolted back plate, and after extended concealed carry I will report on it with focus on the adhesive strip.

Very easy to install (2013-03-14)

I had been wondering about where folks get these carry clips and found them here. Installed very easily really given I had never taken the upper apart on my Gen 1 20 year old Model 17. Pay attention, read the instructions and catch a YouTube video and you will be comfortable with doing it. There is another kind of clip available but it uses a strong adhesive tape. Yes, it is much easier to put on but what is that easy worth if it comes loose and the pistol falls down your pants leg in front of a bunch of folks? I just ordered another one for my 26. And remember carry it with an empty breech just for safety sake- You can draw and charge the weapon faster than you think.
