Our exclusive 90° Hammer Hook Squaring File w/Handle, FF-46 India Stone, Ground Black Ceramic Stone and Ground White Ceramic Stone packaged in a convenient polypropylene storage box with oak divider tray.

SPECS: 10" (25cm) x 1¾" (4.4cm) x 4½" (11cm) polypropylene bench storage box only no other parts are included. The divider and instructions come with the kit.

One Great Kit (2009-10-22)

Good stones and file packaged in one nice kit.

If you need to work on the 1911 parts,get this kit instead of buying seperately.

Great Product (2010-02-24)

Awesome, came in a great little case, and all of the stones are of high quality and came in individual tubes. Hammer file had a handle and all of the tools are set in a nice little oak tray.

Grade A Stones (2010-07-16)

Fantastic stones. As long as your not a butcher, these will last forever.

Hammer/Sear File & Stone Kit (2015-10-06)

I had high hopes for this kit, but I am a bit disappointed.

The Arkansas stone works well enough. The two India stones are not perfectly square, however, which makes finishing hammer hooks difficult. While listed as 1/2 inch square by 6 inches, none of the three stones is exactly 1/2 inch, they differ in size between them and differ on adjoining sides. This can play havoc depending on what kind of jig you use. And the black India stone is not true and flat on two sides, making for a slight radius on the width of my sear.

Lastly, I find the hammer file to be a bit too aggressive but YMMV.

Perfect to use with the Marvel jig (2018-05-06)

The file quickly gets rid of the roughness on the hammer hooks, especially those that are MIM or cast. The stones cover the range from coarse to superfine and do a nice job when used with the Marvel jig.
