these sights came with my AR, they are pretty simple to use and low profile. I have nothing to complain about. great for back up sights!

I bought a cheap set of iron sights on Ebay and was not impressed. Did my homework, read the reviews and decided to spring for a set of these Magpul sights. I must say I was impressed when they showed up. They are really nice. Well constructed, look great and were easy to install. Some of the other reviews mentioned that they were tight and they had to hammer them into place. I had no trouble installing them without banging on them. Perfect co-witness with my Vortex StrikeFire optics. I have no negatives for now and only time and use will tell if there are any. For now I am a happy camper and would recommend these sights.

I bought a pair of these to use on a new AR-15 build. On this build I used an Adams Arms piston kit together with the Samson Handguard that has a cut out for the piston gas block. Because the top of the gas block is slightly lower than the top of the handguard rail, the front site will not fold down flat all the way. Other than that they seem to be good sights. I will use them on another project.

I needed these to shoot and get ready for break-in factor.They are just what I'm looking for.Will get a scope on next.You really can't ask for a better set for the money...

The set is very good and nicely priced compared to metal BUIS made by other companies. Peep aperture could be a little better and the elevation adjustment tool for the front sight is poorly constructed (buy a metal one) as it lost two teeth upon its first use. Installation wasn't smooth as I expected. I had to force (with the aid of a rubber hammer, gently, to not damage the sights)it on my noveske quad rail. Excepts that they work like a charm.

I have both the original and Gen 2 MBUS sights in different color to match the furniture of my tactical rifles. The new Gen 2 is as rugged and more streamlined in profile compared to the original. What I like most on the Gen 2 is the better sight picture of the peep sight and the push button locking mechanism of the front sight post. Compared to other polymer BUIS out there, the Magpul MBUS is as as good as it gets.

I originally placed an order for some sights directly from the manufacturer of my rifle. After three months of not getting my sights I decided to order these. I was apprehensive at first but the very first thing I noticed when taking them out of the box was the weight. Though not heavy, the sights weighed more than I thought a piece of "plastic" would. I immediately mounted the sights using some "removable nut lock". The sights are still on my duty rifle and doing great. I have not had any issues with them and would buy them for another rifle. They are low profile and high quality.

I gambled on magpuls mbus knowing the quality of many other magpul parts i have used on various rifles. I was not let down. I like these sights a whole lot, especially if you use them as a back up iron sight, as the name implies. They work just fine alone and offer a fantastic co-witness with Eotech sights.

I stayed away from these sights for a long time because they were plastic. I recently broke down a got a set for a subgun that I was building. I am very impressed at the quality and how solid they actually are.

They look great, hold a zero, lay low for use with an optic AND they are just the right height for the application!

Just get a set! You'll like them!

For the money, you can not go wrong. The Gen 1s were nice, the Gen 2 are that much better. These are smaller than the Gen 1 and the front sight comes with an adjustment tool. For back-up sights, you can not go wrong at all!

Magpul really knew what they were doing when it came to the Gen 2 MBUS sights. I installed them in under 5 minutes and it was a breeze to sight them in. **A caution to impatient people.. When either raising/lowering the front sight post, be sure to put a fair amount of downwards pressure, so that you don't put any stress on that little post.** The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because that front sight post on mine was poorly made.. However, I called Brownells immediately and they next day aired a new front MBUS sight for free. Best experience with customer service I have ever had. Not many companies can say and back "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed", but Brownells do and did.

If you are looking at these for the purpose of back-up sights, then look no further. While they are big, they are not too big and weight wise, they are very light. The fact that they are spring loaded is a nice feature and they are accurate. They are easy to sight and I would highly recommend them.

The Magpul sights work very well as back up sights. Easy adjustments/zeroing, lightweight, easily indexed through many red dot or holographic sights. I've bought 3 sets of these for my custom builds and find that the sights require very minor adjustment to zero after they are installed on the rifle. I especially like the pop up feature. Release levers are thoughtfully located for both left and right handed shooters, sights open quickly and solidly. The only downside for me is that they are made of a composite material vs. metal - but my sights have survived some pretty hard licks that my red dot scopes did not. I guess is it just a confidence factor. Good sights and Browells has the best price I've found. I most definitely recommend them!

Using on a Flat-top full length rail. Lightweight poly tightens down and adjusts height with the provided Key. Really like the way the set deploys in an instant when pressing down on the middle of the sights. Seems to be forgiving to bumps. Changed out the post to a skinnier post with no problems.

Mounted a set of these on my (don't laugh) S&W 15/22 rifle. They line up perfectly with each other,(unlike the factory supplied cheapies-one leaned one way, one leaned the other). They're lighter weight, and look more "tactical". Aperature quality of the plastic peep could be better, but i'm very pleased with them. They fold down nice and flat, (1/2")so I can use my red-dot sight with no problem.
