Full Length Die with Interchangeable Neck Sizing Ring The FL die is used to size the cartridge case on full length. In this version, the case neck is not sized directly inside the die body but by an interchangeable neck sizing ring (bushing). By changing bushing, the amount of neck sizing can be varied. It consists of the solid die body, the interchangeable neck sizing ring (bushing), and the spindle with expander and decapping pin. The die body is hardened, and the interior profile is mirror-polished. The precision-ground seat for the neck sizing ring ensures an accurate fit. The HK ring is made of tool steel, hardened and finely ground. The expander is also made of tool steel, hardened and finely ground. The complete spindle can be removed upwards, so no readjustment is necessary when reinstalling. Full-length sizing of the cartridge case from base to shoulder takes place when the case is pushed into the die. The case neck is sized on the outside by the installed bushing. Neck sizing from the inside takes place as the case is withdrawn from the die. This restores the case’s loadability and achieves a consistent and secure bullet seating. The correct position of the die in the press is set with the lock nut. All relevant components, including bushings in different sizes, have an article number for easy reordering if necessary. Nackstorleksanpassning från insidan sker när hylsan dras ut ur die. Detta återställer hylsans lastbarhet och uppnår en konsekvent och säker kulans placering.
Den korrekta positionen för die i pressen ställs in med hjälp av låsnut.
